There was a report of a male individual in the 800 block of Courtney that came up to the reporting person and asked for a charger and a lighter, then pulled out a meth pipe and began smoking it. The suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, under 1 gram.

There was a single vehicle crash at First National and the car was abandoned.

Reporting person in the 400 block of West Blackjack ad-vised that someone tried to break into the house last night. Their back window was cracked, door was forced open and tools were missing.

A person reported that there was a male sitting under the tree by the picnic table staring at an apartment in the 100 block of West Mesquite. A criminal trespass was issued.

A reporting person loaned a trailer to a friend and he won’t return it. The suspect advised the person to come get the trailer and when he did, all the tires were flat. Officers advised the tires were a civil issue and if the trailer was not returned to contact law enforcement.

A person in the 200 block of North Patrick reported a male acting strange and hiding be-hind shelves in the store, making people nervous.

A reporting person advised they saw someone outside the house who tried to hit her mom’s truck and then took off. Officers checked the area and didn’t locate any activity or damage.

Loud music was reported in the 200 block of North Davies.

A 4-year-old child was bit on the face and may have required stitches. The mom was at the hospital with the child.

Manager at the self storage requested extra patrols.

A reporting person requested a welfare check on her sister whom she tried to contact and there was no answer. Officers made contact and everything was fine, the phone just stopped working.

DPD assisted ECSO with a large party call.

There was a report that individuals were walking down the street with backpacks. Officers drove the area and did not locate anyone.

A backpack was found on Highland Avenue.
