Jose Ruperto Hernandez, 68, went to be with the Lord July 29, 2022, in Dublin, Texas. Jose was born on March 27, 1954 in Mexico to his parents Macedonio Hernandez and Luisa (Valle Gomez) Hernandez. He married Rachel Saucedo. Jose was a farm laborer and attended the Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his grandkids and spending time outside.
Jose was preceded in death by his sons Jose Angel Corando and Leovigildo Hernandez Gonzales, his daughter Ana Louisa Maldonado, his parents Macedonio and Luisa Hernandez, and his brother Ramon Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Hernandez of Dublin, his daughters and sons-in-law Yolanda and Ricardo Martinez of Stephenville, Mayra and Hugo Osronio of Dublin, his daughters Michelle Hernandez and April Hernandez of Dublin, his sons Jose Ruperto Hernandez, Jr. and Renee Hernandez of Dublin, his godson Salomon Hernandez, Yolanda Juan Bletran of Mexico, Maria de los Angles Hernandez, Angles Hernandez of Mexico, Marina y Lupe of Dublin, Jose Jesus Hernandez of Mexico, Serafin Hernandez of Carlton, Bertha Hernandez of Kansas, Reyna y Franico of Hico, 13 grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, his daughters Ana Maria and Olivia of Mexico, his daughter and son-in-law Lurdes and Armando Vasquez of Dublin. Service were held Tuesday, Aug. 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial followed at New Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.
