Greens Creek Hosting VBS
Greens Creek Baptist Church is hosting Spark Studios, a Vacation Bible School where imagination is ignited and creativity is awakened.
The VBS will be held each day this week through Friday, July 29 from 8:45 a.m. to noon.
Kids attending will be able to explore their artistic side in the Bible Study Studio or Crafts Design Center, lay down a track in the Music Sound Stage or bring inventions to life in the Missions Workshop.
The program is designed according to its creators to have kids “learn, like King David, to use their talents to bring glory to God. They will discover that their creativity is a gift from the infinitely creative Creator who designed them for His glory… Spark your imagination and kick your creativity into high gear at Spark Studios.”

Meet the Teachers set for Aug. 8
Dublin ISD will host its Meet the Teacher event Monday, Aug. 8.
Elementary meet the Teacher will be from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m., intermediate from 6 - 6:45 p.m. and secondary 6:40 - 7:15 p.m.
Community Table in-person again
The Community Table at Dublin First United Methodist Church is now serving meals in the fellowship hall as well as performing deliveries. The meals are free to the community the last Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Ice Cream Freeze Off this Saturday
The annual Morgan Mill Ice Cream Freeze Off will be held Saturday, July 30 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Morgan Mill Community Center.
There will be a homemade ice cream contest and barbecue lunch presented by Harmony Lodge 592.
The ice cream contest entry is $20 with a four quart minimum. The first place winner will receive $200.
There will be door prizes awarded during the event and a mini golf tournament will be held.

FBC Mobile food pantry
First Baptist Church of Dublin is hosting the Tarrant Area Food Bank Mobile Pantry every 1st Thursday of the month from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church parking lot.
CCMC hosting blood drive Monday
The community is asked to give blood during the community blood drive on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Comanche County Medical Center.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the main medical campus at 10201 Highway 16 North, Comanche (midway between De Leon and Comanche).
No appointment is necessary.
Look for the Hendrick blood mobile parked adjacent to Doctors Medical Center clinic, in front of the hospital building.
FNB hosting blood drive
First National Bank of Dublin, in conjunction with Comanche County Medical center, is hosting a blood drive through Carter Blood Care in honor of Josey Roman. Four Carter buses will be in the FNB parking lot on Sunday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dublin Rotary will be cooking hot dogs during the drive.
