July 5

A report has been made in the 200 block of North Harrell Street that a subject’s mail has been stolen many times.

Officers obtained information that an individual with multiple warrants was at a residence on Courtney Street. Dublin officers and ECSO assisted with the call. Brenden Vivian was arrested for evading arrest and parole violation and trans-ported to jail.

A reporting person complained that 3-4 dogs chased their vehicle when they drove by on Harris/ Post Oak.

July 6

A reporting person advised the neighbor was playing loud mu-sic in the 300 block of North Park. Officers were unable to find the loud music.

July 7

A reporting person in the 300 block of North Camden said he was driving home and saw a suspicious vehicle on Live Oak behind his house. He also ad-vised when he got home a per-son ran from his house. Officers checked the area and did not see anyone.

July 8

A reporting person advised that the neighbor’s black and white dog was out and in her yard. Officer spoke to the owner who said the dog had dug out and was now secured. The individual received a verbal warning.

A couple of dogs were checked on to make sure they had water because of the heat in the 400 block of Comanche.

The passage of counterfeit money was reported at Brookshire Brothers.

Officers conducted a traffic stop at U.S. 377/Hwy. 6 that led to a probable cause search. Subjects were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to the county jail.

July 9

A reporting person advised there was a semitruck outside of his house and it is loud. Officers located the owner and he agreed to shut it off.

A person reported a Ford Ranger unable to maintain a lane and driving into oncoming traffic on North Patrick Street. Officer spoke with the driver and he said when he switched gears, it jerked.

A reporting person advised her son was riding his bike to his grandmother’s house and a dog bit him. There were no injuries and medical attention was not required. The owner received a citation for animal at large.

Barricades by the Dairy Queen were knocked down and put back up.

A reporting person said when she came over to take care of a property for someone who doesn’t live in town, the front and back doors were open.

A burn ban violation was re-ported on Trow-bridge/ Comanche.

July 10

There was a report of a reckless driver on Hwy. 6 East near the construction zone (passing in a no passing zone).
