June 27
A blue Dodge was following the reporting person in the 600 block of North Patrick and the driver waved him down and threatened him. Officer made contact with the blue Dodge and they had nothing to say.
Another caller advised a black Durango ran his wife off the road in front of him. The officer spoke with the owner of the Durango and they said that a black Tahoe passed him on the shoulder and the Dodge pulled up and told him to leave the Tahoe alone or they would harm him.
Multiple 911 calls were reported at a house under construction in the 500 block of Live Oak but when officers went to check, no one had called.
A verbal altercation occurred between neighbors on North Camden Street. An officer spoke to both parties and after determining threats were made to each other, citations were issued for assault by verbal threat.
A male individual was walking door-to-door looking for his wife in the 500 block of Travis Street. The reporting party stated that he didn’t seem like he was in a good frame of mind. An officer checked the area and did not locate anyone.
A call came in from Comanche County about a semi-truck getting a new tire from Hogan’s Tire and not paying. Officers were unable to locate the semi.
June 28
Officers received a report of a green wagon that was stolen off of the back porch in the 200 block of East Blackjack.
A reporting party said she found a glass drug pipe in the park. Officers looked for the pipe but were unable to locate.
A reporting party said their neighbors were not going to observe the fireworks ban.
A subject requested to speak to an officer about someone making threats against them. The officer advised the subject to get a restraining order if the harassment continued.
Credit card fraud was reported by an individual in the lobby of the PD.
A subject believed someone had been in her apartment but nothing was taken, just items moved. Officer spoke with her and she said it may have been her apartment manager doing an apartment check. Officers advised they would do extra patrols in the area just in case.
A male and female were in a physical disturbance on Cam-den Street. Officers arrived, got statements but the parties involved refused to press charges.
Illegal dumping was reported at the Family Dollar dumpster. An officer located the subject and they were told to remove every-thing and go put it back in their trash can.
June 30
A burn ban violation was reported in the 200 block of Johnson Street.
A large dog was charging the employees at Dairy Queen.
Someone was staying on the reporting party’s property and they have moved but left their vehicle and horse trailer. She was seeking information about what to do with the items.
Dogs were reported to be out roaming all of the time in the 400 block of South Norton. The call was referred to animal control.
A dog was reported out in the 300 block of North Camden Street. Officers went to speak with the owners but they were not home. The dog was placed in the pound until the owner was aware. The owner picked the dog up and received a citation for animal at large.
July 1
A person reported that someone was shooting a gun by her house in a white truck on Vine.
A subject came into the station to report a stolen license plate.
A reporting person advised there are kids coming over to fight him in a black Tahoe. Officers spoke with the parties and there were some threats made between the kids on a video game. Both parents both criminal trespasses on the kids so they won’t come to each other’s residences.
Train arms were reportedly stuck on the train tracks. They were being repaired and eventually reopened.
July 2
A reporting person advised a dog showed up at her house and wouldn’t leave. Officers secured the stray at the pound until the owners could be located.
