LHS athletes advance

Lingleville High School is sending several athletes to regional competition following recent events.

Golf

The boys took second place as a team to advance. Players are:Cade Lingle, Caden Howard, Joseph Briseno, Klaas Schievink and Memphis Bays.

Emma Hudson also received second place Medalist.

Tennis

Lingleville tennis players were named champions for the third consecutive year (not counting the events canceled by COVID guidelines) in district competition at Stephenville Friday.

All first and second place finishes advance to Regional competition. LHS is sending 11 athletes to Regionals.

“This group includes 4 Freshmen so the future looks good,” said Coach Ken Davis.

“I am proud of all the participants and want to say they represented our Cardinal Tradition on the court and off,” Davis said of all the tennis players.
