At 3:01 p.m. a major twovehicle accident on Hwy 67 left one vehicle in a tree. One victim was Careflighted to JPS and another was pronounced dead at the scene.

At 5:51 p.m. a possible broken collar bone was the result of a vehicle roll over on Hwy 281 near Hwy 6 East.
