Genealogy meeting rescheduled
Erath County Genealogical Society rescheduled it’s February meeting. Emily Martin Howle will speak at the Dublin Public Library at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19th. A seventh generation Erathian, Emily will discuss the project of flag placement on the veteran gravesites laid to rest at Lingleville East End and West End cemeteries. Guests are always welcome at Gen Society meetings.
Emily is active with Erath County Critical Incident Stress Management Peer Support Team, Mickey Belew Memorial Foundation, Lingleville’s ISD Parent Teacher Organization, Athletic Booster Club, Youth Sports, and East End Cemetery Association. She has also previously served with the Erath County Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

Dublin Market returns with St. Pat’s
Spring weather has its ups and downs, but be up for St. Pat’s, and for the Dublin Market at Wright Park, Mar. 12, 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. We expect around 20 vendors. Once again at the Wright Historic Park, the market will be accompanied by fun entertainment at the pavilion. Come find your favorite local bakers, condiment makers, and craft people of all sorts. There will be healthy eats, wearables, garden art, and gift items of great variety. Saturday, Wright Park, starting at 9 a.m. and going through 1 p.m.

Master Gardeners Participating in Native & Heirloom Plant Fair
Erath County Master Gardeners will be at the annual Stephenville Historical House Museum’s Native & Heirloom Plant Fair on Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Plant selection includes Texas Natives, Texas Superstar® plants, perennials, herbs and veggies, succulents, and cacti. Fairy gardens, stepping stones, gnomes, bunnies, eggs, mushrooms, and other garden accessories will also be available.
The Plant Fair will be hosted at the Stephenville Historical House Museum, 525 E. Washington St., Stephenville
Certified master gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions and present educational sessions on such topics as layered container gardens; butterfly gardening; trees & shrubs; soil testing, preparation, and composting; and rain barrel construction.
