Ragin’ Cajun returns March 26

Body

Mark your calendars for the Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council’s (CTFAC) signature fundraising event, the 19th Annual Ragin’ Cajun Crawfish Boil and Silent Auction, happening Saturday, March 26 from 6 – 9 p.m. at The Big Red Barn Event Center.

CTFAC is thrilled to welcome back its largest fundraising event. Reserved tables (seating up to 8 guests) are on sale now for $750. Individual tickets are also available for purchase at $100 each.

“Tables tend to sell out quickly for this event, “said CTFAC Executive Director. “We encourage our guests to please purchase their tables/tickets as soon as possible to guarantee a seat.”

Following in true Ragin’ Cajun tradition, the event will feature local celebrity waiter teams (stay tuned for our announcement of the waiter teams), Cajun music and of course a silent auction filled with many wonderful items to bid on. Tables and tickets for the event can be reserved by calling CTFAC directly at (254) 965-6190, or by going to their website, crosstimbersfinearts.org .

All proceeds from the Ragin’ Cajun are used by CTFAC to fund art activities, events and programs for the local community, many of which are free to the public.

Founded in 1980, the Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council (CTFAC) is a non-profit fine arts presenter organization. For over 38 years the CTFAC has sponsored or co-sponsored a variety of events which include music, theater, dance and art exhibits. The CTFAC also sponsors children’s theater, youth concerts and exhibits, and art camps to serve the eight-county service area of Bosque, Comanche, Eastland, Erath, Hamilton, Hood, Palo Pinto and Somervell. Our programs are often the only opportunity that many of our rural citizens have to experience the arts firsthand.
