Filing is underway for three city and three school elections to be held in Dublin during the May 7 general election. Deadline to file is Feb. 18 by 5 p.m.
On the school side, the positions held by Pat Leatherwood, Anjelica Salyer and Bob Cervetto are up for election. All three incumbents have already filed for re-election as of Tuesday morning while John Shipman filed for one of the full-term positions. Those who would like to file for the race can pick up and deliver applications to the Dublin ISD Administration office (420 N. Post Oak) Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
There are three city races also up for consideration: the office of mayor held by David Leatherwood, the Place 2 City Council seat held by Lynn Tidwell and the Place 4 City Council seat held by Eric Bullard. As of Tuesday, Keegan McInroe filed for the position on Place 4 and Leatherwood filed for re-election as mayor.Those looking to run can pick up and turn in applications at Dublin City Hall Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
