CCMC offers women’s health screenings

Body

Comanche County Medical Center offers the following message for women:

Has your busy life kept you from getting your annual cervical screening? Many women have put off getting a pap test or HPV screening during the pandemic. Health experts recommend annual screenings for all women 21 to 65 years of age. Early detection of cervical cancer saves many thousands of women’s lives each year, and the disease can be preventable or caught early and treated with these regular screenings and HPV vaccination.

Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC) doctors and advanced practice providers offer these women’s health services at all three primary care clinics. At this time, HPV vaccination is available at Comanche and Dublin. At Doctors Medical Center clinic in Comanche appointments can be made with: Sydney Deal, MD, S. Howard Dickey, DO, Annelle Onishi, MD, and Tiffany Torres, FNP; at Dublin Family Medicine, Amy Young, FNP and Liz Young, FNP; and at the Rising Star Health Clinic: Sara D. Eaker, PA.
