Leona Marie Miller, 96, went home to be with Jesus, Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was born March 11, 1925 in Carlton, Texas, to Charles John and Hulda Nerrittig Reich.
On January 11, 1948, she and Fred Miller were married. They were blessed with two sons Jerry Curtis and Clayton Keith Miller. They farmed in the Gustine community for several years and later moved to Dublin where Leona worked as an LVN. After Fred’s death in 2004 she moved to Weatherford to be near Jerry and Linda Miller.
Leona was a loving and generous and was a person of strong faith who throughout life knew the comfort of God’s love and the assurance of her place in Heaven.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Miller, siblings: Gottlieb, Henry, Avil, Charley, Floyd and Johnny Reich, Irene Rudolph, and Lillie Bottlinger. Left to cherish her memory are her, children, Jerry Miller and wife Linda, and Clayton Miller; grandchildren: Bryan Miller and wife Jennifer, Laura Bruton and husband Tracy, Dion Miller, Dillon Miller and wife Cathy; her great grandchildren along with her sister Helen Limmer and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
A memorial will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 2470 W Lambert, Weatherford Texas 76088, Saturday December 11, 2021, at 11 a.m.
