This Saturday plan to be downtown for the Dublin Market in Wright Park and then the Wobble Gobble at the Patrick/ Blackjack corner. Fun times. The day will be pleasant and the Dublin Market will be busy. Vendors will be ready to sell at 9 a.m. We expect Broodwinkel baked goods, Kajira Gifts, JanaJ Concessions, Sassy Kids, Ruffled Charms, Little Eagle, DABrock Designs, and many others. There will be some new faces as well. You always find unique gifts there, as well as the tasty baked goods and produce we count on. Plan now for the best gifts. Great Turkey Giveaway returns Saturday
Saturday marks the fourth annual Great Turkey Giveaway with as Mattressville sponsors free turkey dinners for Erath County families for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Mattressville is joined in sponsoring the annual giving tradition by Baby Clay’s Meat Market, BMY and Timber Ridge Church.
A limited number of families who sign up by visiting timberridgechurch. com/turkey will get a turkey dinner with all the fixin’s for free as a way of sponsors showing their care and appreciation for the community.
Families who successfully registered can pick up their dinner from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 20 at Timber Ridge Church (N. Bates and FM 8 in Stephenville)

School Board reviews policy updates
The Dublin ISD School Board accepted the first reading of updates to local policy 118, reflecting changes made by the Texas Association of School Boards, during the regular meeting Monday night.
The board was also informed that nest month was Superintendent Melissa Summers’ summative evaluation for 2021 and entered into closed session for the majority of the meeting after which no action was taken.
It was also announced that the December meeting has been moved to Dec. 13 at 6 p.m.
