Dublin Goodfellows and First United Methodist Church food pantry volunteers were assisted by some small but excited helpers as they loaded up thousands of items for the annual Dublin Elementary and Intermediate fall food drives. Dublin Elementary collect 2,398 canned and boxed items to be given to families in need with classes vying for who could bring in the most. Nicki Turner’s Kindergarten class took those honors with 769 items. Intermediate weighed their donations for a total of 19,913 oz. collected. It was Krista Skiles’ 6th grade class that gathered those most with 2,739 oz. Paul Gaudette | Citizen staff photos
