It is an exciting time to be a Lion at Dublin Elementary. This past week we celebrated being awarded #20th in the state of Texas by US News and World Report. We commend everyone from cafeteria workers, custodians, to every teacher and staff member.
We have started the 3rd six weeks and we are rocking and rolling. Students are progressing on sight words, phrase lists, and AR goals. Report cards will be sent home this Friday, so please check your students backpack.
Monday November 8th is a Student and Teacher holiday. School will resume November 9th.
Make sure you monitor the Dublin Citizen this month for our student’s awesome explanation on “How to Cook a Turkey.” Starting November 9th – November 15th is the Scholastic Book Fair. Informational fliers about purchasing books will be sent home this week. Parents are encouraged to use the eWallet and Family and Friends Sharing through www.scholastic. com/fair. Students and parents are also welcome to shop online at the website provided.
November 22nd – 26th is Thanksgiving break. We want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday with family and friends. School will resume November 29th.
Lastly, a big shout out Coach Mondrea Ingram and Custodian Tina Mendoza for being awarded Novembers Teacher and Staff Member of the month.
