Lingleville ISD celebrated Red Ribbon Week last week, October 18-22. The theme for LISD was Cardinals Make Really Excellent Decisions (R.E.D.)! The dress-up days tied to the theme and culminated in our Spook Parade on Friday with the LISD PTO Carnival taking place on Saturday the 23th. LISD also invited guest speaker Blake Keith to talk to students in grades 6-12 about the dangers of vaping. As part of our R.E.D. Ribbon Week activities, each class on campus took part in a door decorating contest. The winners of that contest were: Mrs. Wankowicz’s 2nd grade (2B) class (above); Mrs. Garrison’s 4th grade (4A) class (below); Mrs. Bright’s 7th grade class (above right) and Mrs. Wilcoxon’s 12th grade class (right).
