September 11
At 9:16 a.m. a 40 to 50-year-old 5’10” black male armed with a handgun was seen driving on Hwy 281 heading towards Stephenville before turning off onto FM 1188. After running several people off the road including someone transporting livestock, the driver wrecked out upon hitting another vehicle. Helicopters were in the air but no apprehension was made.
At 2:48 p.m. a fast moving heavy brush fire was spotted along FM 219 North.
September 12
At 5:28 p.m. a hay baler and grass were reported on fire, and the fire was rapidly approaching the residence on Hwy 67.
September 13
At 3:12 p.m. after swerving to miss a turning 18-wheeler, a vehicle struck and took out several mailboxes on Hwy 377 South.
