At 2:01 p.m. a twovehicle accident occurred between a pickup and a tractor on FM 219 North at CR 392 temperarily trapping one person who was taken to the hospital.

At 10:41 a.m. a five gallon oil drum spilled all over the roadway of FM 219 at FM 2303, TxDot was notified.
August 10
At 6:30 p.m. a hay baler caught on fire then set 160 acres on fire on CR 360 before being put out by multiple fire units from the surrounding areas of Erath, Lingleville and Desdemona.
August 11
At 8:04 a.m. the owners of trash and tires dumped on CR 258 were found and fined.
At 12:06 p.m. United Cooperative Services was notified after a combine accidentally knocked down power lines on FM 2156.
