Body

BROWNWOOD

Water lightly stained; 89 degrees; 0.60 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair with blue or purple Texas rigged plastic worms, bladed spinners and shaky head jigs near grass lines, timber rocky shorelines, and docks. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs in brush piles and near bridge pilings. White bass and hybrids are good on white, silber or chartreuse slabs, striper jigs and live bait along the main lake channels, humps and ridges. Look for birds diving over feeding schools of white bass. Catfish are good on punch bait, chicken liver and live bait.

GRANBURY

Water lightly stained; 86 degrees; 0.02 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair on crankbaits, football jigs, Texas rigged plastic worms and spinners near grass lines, rocky areas, points and timber. Crappie fishing is fair around boat docks and bridge pilings with minnows and jigs. Catfishing is good with cut bait and live bait. Stripers are good with live bait along the main lake channel.

POSSUM KINGDOM

Water slightly stained; 83 degrees; 0.25 feet high. Fish have been biting in water depths 15-35 feet. Striper fish are good and remain consistent with top water action working the south end of the lake using live bait, and topwater lures when the fish are schooling the top water.

PROCTOR

Water lightly stained; 87 degrees; 0.07 feet high. Largemouth bass are good on crank baits, drop shots, bladed spinners and football jigs near main lake points, drop-offs, flooded vegetation and rocky shorelines. Hybrid stripers are good with live bait and swimbaits in the main lake. Crappie are fair with minnows and jigs near timber and brush piles in water ranging 12-24 feet. Catfish are fair on cut bait, live bait and earthworms.

WEATHERFORD

Water lightly stained; 88 degrees; 0.42 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair on tubes, flipping jigs and crankbaits near points, fallen timber and rocky shorelines. White bass are good on chartreuse slabs, swim baits and live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows around docks, creeks and submerged cover. Catfish are good on punch or cut bait.

WHITNEY

Water lightly stained; 86 degrees; 1.07 feet low. Black bass are fair on crankbaits, Carolina rigged plastic worms and flipping jigs near vegetation, timber and rock ledges in 10-20 feet of water. White bass are good along the main lake channel, flats and humps with white and chartreuse swimbaits and slabs. Stripers are good with live bait along the main lake river channel edges. timber, creek channels and brush piles.
