DPS reports on Dublin crashes

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers reported two collisions that occurred in the morning hours of Monday in Erath County.

According to DPS reports, the first crash happened at approximately 9:30 a. m. on US Highway 67 near County Road 351 in Dublin.

Preliminary DPS investigation indicates a 2016 Kia Sol, driven by Lisa Roy of Dublin, was stopped on County Road 351 and failed to yield the right-of-way to a 1996 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Von Moore of Morgan, that was traveling on US 67.

The two vehicles collided and came to rest in the center median. Neither person was injured. The second reported crash occurred on US Highway 281 near Farm

DPS reports state that a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Kayla Pollard of Dublin and containing three passengers, ages four months, five-years-old and seven-years-old, was traveling north on US 281 where a a 2006 Dodge pickup towing a horse trailer had stopped to make a left turn.

DPS reported that Pollard didn’t see the vehicle in front of her was stopped and struck the rear of the trailer.

The five and seven year olds were taken to a hospital in Stephenville for undisclosed injuries.

The driver of the Dodge, Ryan Andrews of Stephenville, and two passengers ages 10 and 16, were not injured.
