Summer concerts are continuing at the historic Granbury Opera House during 2021.
On the schedule are:
■ Salute to the Opry – July 30-31
■ Fortunate Son: A Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival – August 6-7
■ Infinite Journey: The Music of Journey – September 10-11
“Salute to the Opry” will highlight Granbury’s own Shane Brooks and his band featuring songs from county music’s greatest legends. A singer-songwriter, Brooks released an album through Decca Records as Shane Stockton, wrote a hit song for Garth Brooks, and made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in the late 1990’s.
Combining timeless CCR favorites and John Fogerty solo hits, Fortunate Son truly personifies the spirit and grit of America’s favorite rock and roll band! This show is for all ages and unites classic rock, country, blues, and folk music fans together like no other tribute act can.
Infinite Journey is an international tribute band based in Dallas, playing high-energy shows across the country since 2012. This five piece delivers a musically immersive Journey experience, focusing on the overall sound, solos, and most especially the soaring vocals that make Journey so iconic. The group was chosen out of thousands of tribute acts across the country to perform on Season 7 of AXS TV’s “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” hosted by Katie Daryl.
Concert performances times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
Tickets are available now through the GTC box office at (817) 579-0952 or online at www. granburytheatrecompany. org. Online and box office processing fees apply.
