Local grown-ups are asked to break out their bats and practice their pitching for an adult co-ed softball tournament on July 30-31 benefitting the Dublin Baseball Softball Association.
Eighty percent of all proceeds earned from the tournament will be going towards needed renovations at the Rotary Field.
Teams must have 10 players and at least two women per team. The cost to enter is $25 per player.
Team shirts will be provided with the DBSA’s new ‘Rotary Revival’ logo by color.
As part of the fundraising, those who hit a home run must pay $5 at the plate or take an out.
Unlimited home run stamps may be purchased for $25.
A schedule of events will be prepared by DBSA once the group sees how many teams sign up for the tournament.
Additional shirts will be available for sale for $20 to those just wanting to show support and not play in the tournament.
