Bubbles (above), the 8-foot-tall mascot of the Brick EMS group, swaggers around the National Health and Public Safety History Museum Saturday as he greeted visitors following an appearance in the Stephenville 4th of July Parade. Brick EMS is a group that recognizes the efforts of first responders through Lego dioramas and scenes. Bubbles wasn’t the only visitor to Erath for Independence Day as many braved the wet weather for Fourth festivities, which included a car show at the Stephenville City Park (below).
