The Comanche County Community Rehab kicked off its 22nd year this week. 190 volunteers have stepped up to help with rehabilitation for housing projects after last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19. This year’s group is in the process of fixing up 11 homes.

Texas A&M University honored Hamilton resident, Dr. Charles Graham DVM, with the grand opening of two new buildings by naming one after him. Graham is an alumni of Texas A&M and was present at the opening ceremony.

A photo of Ryder Zschiesche trying to catch crawfish was featured on the front page. Several people showed up to the Crawdads and Crawfish experience at Schadler Meadow to try their hand at catching these tiny creatures. The photo showed Zschiesche fishing with a string and bits of bacon.
