Opry staging concerts

Body

Summer concerts are ahead for the historic Granbury Opera House during June and July 2021.

On the schedule are:

· Surf’s Up: A Tribute to the Beach Boys – June 11-12

· Walk Like A Man: A Tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons – July 9-10

· Salute to the Opry – July 30-31

Surf’s Up is one of the first true Beach Boys tribute bands in the world. They have been perfecting and recreating the Beach Boys sound for 25 years. Literally since they were kids. Their sibling harmonies capture the authentic blend of the Beach Boys like no other. Not just another “tribute band,” these veterans naturally bring the magical “Sound of Summer.”

Walk Like A Man is a tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons as well as the Broadway hit show and movie “Jersey Boys.” Featuring hits like: “Sherry Baby,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” Whether this is a trip down memory lane or the discovery of a new classic for you, we’re sure you’ll want to sing along and dance all night.

“Salute to the Opry” will highlight Granbury’s own Shane Brooks and his band featuring songs from county music’s greatest legends. A singer-songwriter, Brooks released an album through Decca Records as Shane Stockton, wrote a hit song for Garth Brooks, and made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in the late 1990’s.

Concert performance times are 7:30 P.M. on Fridays and 2:00 P.M. and 7:30 P.M. on Saturdays. “Salute to the Opry” will not have a Saturday matinee.

Tickets are available now through the GTC box office at (817) 579-0952 or online at www.granburytheatrecompany.org. Online and box office processing fees apply.
