Crews from Glueck’s towing, Dublin Volunteer Fire Department, Dublin Police and Texas Department of Public Safety were busy at the intersection of FM219 and the Dublin Loop Monday morning, responding to a collision between a Freightliner 18-wheeler and a 2004 Ford pickup truck. According to the DPS report, the pick-up was crossing the intersection on FM 219 when it failed to yield and was struck by the Freightliner, which left the roadway and turned over. There were no serious injuries but crews had to chain the overturned 18-wheeler to multiple tow trucks to get it off its side and off of the fence on which it had landed.
