Erath County officials reported four new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, April 12 that was released the next morning.
All four of the positive cases were within the city limits of Stephenville.
Total deaths since March were reported at 68 by the Department of State Health Services.
Total COVID-19 cases increased by 9 (3,164 to 3,173) from the April 5 report to Monday night’s, while active cases decreased from 28 to 24.
Recovered cases were reported at 3,081 on Monday, up from 3,064 last week.
There were two current COVID-related hospitalizations in the county.

Erath County is continuing vaccine operations in the former site of the Stephenville JC Penney. Vaccines were opened to all adults on Monday with an estimated 800 set to receive vaccines that day.
