Hamilton Herald News

Hamilton ISD decided to continue with the use of masks indoors until April 30. Superintendent Clay Tarpley said that the majority of the staff said they would like to receive their first vaccination before masks come off in the classroom. The deadline of April 30 would give the staff time to receive their second doses as well. As for outdoor activities Tarpley said “For outdoor activities, UIL allows us to change and I recommend going from 50 percent capacity to 100 percent capacity without masks in outdoor venues.”

The Comanche Chief

Comanche County Judge Stephanie L. Davis placed an article on the front page reminding people that their input is needed for the county wide strategic plan that is being developed by Texas A&M. “The goal of this planning is to maximize the health, safety and economic wellbeing of Comanche County residents in ways that reflect the unique needs, desires, and culture of those who live and work within the county.” Judge Davis’ article provided links to join the conversation and for more information about the overall project.
