The Majestic Theatre posted their program for the week of March 25 through 31st. Friday played “The Butterfly Man” starring Lew Cody. Saturday was “A Western Adventure” with William Fairbanks. Monday was “Partners of Fate with Loiuse Lovely. Tuesday was “Wanted At Headquarters” starring Eva Novak. Wednesday was “The Hope” and Thursday was “Ducks and Drakes” with Bebe Daniels.

The eighth grade class was presenting “Wildcat Willie in the Doghouse” in the Grade School auditorium. Admission to the play was 15 cents for grammar school students and 25 cents for adults. Cast members included Patsy Self, Nancy Wilson, Nancy Nelson, Charles Matthews, John Edward Farley, Jean Henderson, Don Paul Wiggins, Mary Lynn Whitfield, Melba Cline, Shirley Fanning, Melva Shannon, Mary Ann Mayfield, Dan Gilbreath, Billie Dean Smith, John Underwood and Ted Brown. The play included three acts.

Jesse and Flodean McMillian celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 23th.The McMillans were married on March 23, 1946. A reception was hosted by their children and their spouses. The McMillians had 23 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
