Erath County officials reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Monday, March 1 that was released the next morning.
This included two positive cases within the city limits of Stephenville, one within the city limits of Dublin and three among rural residents.
Total deaths since March were reported at 64 by the Department of State Health Services.
Total COVID-19 cases increased by 22 (3,067 to 3,089) from the Feb. 22 report to Thursday night’s, while active cases increased from 38 to 42.
Recovered cases were reported at 2,981 on Monday, up from 2,965 last week.
Current hospitalizations were reported at 4.
Gov. Greg Abbott announced the repeal of COVID social distancing guidelines and the facemak mandate on Tuesday. (See story on page B6.)
