56% of Erath voters cast ballots early

Erath County Elections Coordinator Michelle Alcon reported that 12,229 county voters had cast their ballots in-person and 1,184 absentee ballots had been cast during early voting for the Nov. 3 General Election.

This translates to 56.1 percent of Erath’s voters who had already voiced their choices before the polls opened on election day.

Decisions were still forthcoming in the local, state and federal elections as of Tuesday afternoon when the Dublin Citizen was sent to press.
