The following first responder calls were made Aug. 10 through Aug. 18.
Local first responders handled 87 calls during this time and PD completed 28 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Aug. 10
A custody disagreement took place.
An individual was looking for their wallet which had a drivers license in it.
A welfare concern was called in regarding an individual who had texted ‘help me.’ Everything was okay.
A criminal trespass took place.
Aug. 11
An individual was slandered at their workplace and wanted to know options.
A dog was locked in a car with the car running and AC. Vet clinic called.
A car broke down on Clinton and North Patrick, and they were able to push it out of the way with PD help.
A wide load hit a power line on Blackjack Street with two lines down across the road. Three broken poles had to be replaced, and power was out for several hours.
Traffic hazard was reported in the 800 block of West Blackjack.
Aug. 12
A burglary with glass break was in the 200 block of Hurt Street. Alarm activated. No burglary occurred.
PD assisted Oncor with road shut down on Blackjack to repair broken poles/ lines.
A welfare concern was called in with need for home visit.
Aug. 13
A vehicle crash occurred near railroad tracks in the 2900 block of CR 300.
A reporting person hit a gas service line while digging to put in fiberoptics in the 100 block of Scenic Drive. Hazardous materials call since gas started blowing everywhere.
A minor fender bender occurred on East Blackjack.
A male wearing reflective gear was almost hit while walking in the 200 block of West Live Oak. Requested officer to speak to driver.
Cristobal Morales was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop.
Aug. 14
A business alarm with glass break was activated in the 100 block of South Patrick.
A vehicle crash occurred in the 200 block of North Norton.
A funeral escort occurred from Lacy to Old Dublin Cemetery.
A minor vehicle accident occurred in the 800 block of North Patrick when an individual backed into another.
A citizen involved in a wreck called to check if other individual had insurance or not.
A large dog with a chain was tangled in a barbecue pit, and person was attempting to find owner.
A reporting person could hear gunshots towards Highland.
Aug. 15
A car alarm was activating in the 700 block of North Patrick.
A disturbance with possible injuries was reported on Myrtle.
A criminal trespass occurred on Liveoak Street.
Fireworks were reported on North Park Street vicinity. They were not located.
Aug. 16
A civil standby was requested to get belongings.
A child was locked in the bathroom at the laundromat in the 400 block of South Patrick.
An individual lost their wallet somewhere near Shenanigans.
A disturbance occurred in the 200 block of North Grafton between an individual and tenant. An apple was thrown.
A minor vehicle crash was reported on CR 351 and CR 380.
A dog attacked reporting person’s chickens in the 600 block of Grand Street.
Aug. 17
A person found two kittens in a bag in a dumpster in the 600 block of Ireland Street. One was dead, other was alive. Animal cruelty was reported.
A civil matter was called in regarding an individual not being permitted to get belongings before eviction date occurred.
A criminal trespass occurred at the Dublin City Pool.
A person requested to speak to an officer regarding attempted theft of kayak.
Aug. 18
An alarm activated in the 100 block of South Patrick.
A two-vehicle accident occurred on North Norton and East Harris St. No injuries.

Aug. 10 – FD responded back to structure fire from previous day.
Aug. 11 – A small brush fire in the bar ditch was reported on CR 374. Fire was disregarded. Called back out for a fire at the corner of CR 373 and CR 351. Determined to be accidental.
Aug. 11 – A fire was reported on CR 351.
Aug. 14 – A fast moving grass fire was reported pm FM 1702.
Aug. 14 – A large fire occurred in Carlton on CR 386. Numerous departments responded including Dublin.
Aug. 14 – A fire rekindle occurred on FM 1702.

Aug. 10 – An elderly female was dehydrated, vomiting any time she ate or drank, disoriented.
