Hogan tourney draws 90+

The 17th annual Ben Hogan Legacy Tournament drew a staggering 92 players and more than 20 teams to PAR Country Club Friday, June 12 to the tournament benefiting the Ben Hogan Museum of Dublin.

There was a high level of skill on display from the golf fans participating and the top spot came down to a play-off as the number one and number two teams both finished with 54 strokes.

Earning the top spot after the playoff was the team of Kevin Brown, Randy Mann, Aaron Rodeffer. and Justin Schultz.

Second place was claimed by Pat Gutridge, Doug Payne, Paul Darwin and Gene George.

Third place with 55 strokes went to the team of Michael Nelson, Robert Smith, Steve Smith and Jim Grubbs.

Tournament Organizer Charles Finegan said the event brought in a large number of corporate sponsors to help the museum as the board examines how to grow the event.
