It’s time for another election and voters are encouraged to vote in the Joint Primary Election Runoffs.
Early voting is underway and will only be held in Stephenville.
Voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. this week through through Friday, May 22 and take place at Annex III located at 222 E. College St. in Stephenville.
Election Day will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 at the following location: Annex III in Stephenville, Texas A&M Agrilife Research & Extension Center (1229 N. U.S. Hwy. 281 in Stephenville), Dublin Annex (219 S. Grafton St. in Dublin), Texas Bank (988 Wolfe Nursery Road in Stephenville) and Bluff Dale Community Center (175 Holt St. in Bluff Dale). On election day, voters can cast their ballot anywhere in the county.
Those who voted on the Republican ticket in the November 2026 Primary race are eligible to vote again in the runoff race which will feature the U.S. Senator race between John Cornyn and Ken Paxton.
There will also be a runoff in the Republican Attorney General race between Chip Roy and Mayes Middleton.
Voters can also choose in the runoff for Railroad Commissioner between Bo French and Jim Wright.
There is also a runoff race for Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3 between Thomas Smith and Alison Fox.
Those who voted on the Democratic ticket in the November 2026 Primary race are eligible to vote again in the runoff race which will feature the lieutenant governor race between Vikki Goodwin and Marcos Isaias Velez.
Democratic voters can also vote for attorney general between Nathan Johnson and Joe Jaworski.
Those who did not vote in the Primary Election in November are eligible to choose which party they wish to vote for in the runoff race.
