The following first responder calls were made May 4-May11. Local first responders handled 72 calls during this time frame and PD completed 14 traffic stops.
Dublin PD May 4
DPD assisted another agency on a traffic stop on East Blackjack and FM 847.
An individual reported suspicious activity on the 300 block of North Camden when their ex would not stop ringing their doorbell.
An agency assist occurred on a warrant service.
Suspicious activity was reported in regards to a custody dispute.
An agency assist was called for a baby locked inside a vehicle. Parents were able to get vehicle unlocked, so units were disregarded.
A funeral escort was requested for a large service at Erath County Memorial Gardens.
An individual requested an officer at their residence to discuss details with them about things going on in reference to harassment.
A disturbance was reported in the 500 block of North Camden.
May 5
An alarm was reported in the 200 block of South Patrick.
Suspicious activity was reported regarding a missing car key that was in their vehicle.
An individual known for heavy drug use reported an unknown person being held against their will.
A student was escorted to high school.
A criminal trespass warning was served.
An agency assist occurred in the 600 block of Highland Avenue.
A criminal trespass occurred in the 400 block of South Park.
There were five teenage males stopped on the side of the road on Loop 267. A male in white hat and blue shirt dropped his pants and exposed himself to passerbys. They left headed towards Comanche. They were not located.
There was wire right in the middle of the road on East Elm Street. The reporting person didn’t know if it was a live wire.
A follow up investigation occurred.
A suspicious person was reported as a male subject carrying a possibly stolen chainsaw on North Park and West Shannon.
A welfare concern involving child neglect was investigated.
May 6
A person wanted to speak to an officer about speeding on North Grafton and possibly getting more patrol.
A call about a suspicious person was made.
May 7
A welfare concern was called in regarding an elderly male.
An individual called in about two small animals in a cage with no food or water. Individual wanted them checked on.
An officer with Lubbock PD requested assistance for an alleged offense that occurred in the city.
A possibly intoxicated driver left a business going towards Dublin, and headed towards Grafton.
May 8
A church next door to the individual was blocking their only exit due to TxDOT having roads shut down.
An agency assist to transport a student occurred.
An individual threatened to beat up a post office employee when they were asked to move their vehicle. The vehicle was blocking parking at the post office with a truck and pontoon boat.
A disturbance occurred on FM 219 with an individual breaking down a door.
A reckless driver was reportedly going the wrong way on Hwy. 377 into Dublin from Allsup’s. They were not located.
An agency assist was requested regarding a truck driving northbound in the southbound lane on Hwy. 377, last seen near Allsups. It was unable to be located.
May 9
A disturbance was reported on Perry Drive with an individual being afraid for their safety.
A person with the railroad stated a person with a baseball bat jumped out of the grass and verbally threatened him.
A male on East Dobkins was reportedly walking around with a machete.
May 10
A false alarm was reported in the 300 block of Patrick.
A vehicle crash occurred on FM 219.
A black cow was out on North Davies and Harris. Was unable to be located.
Erath County EMSDublin division May 8 – a female was locked in the bathroom with difficulty breathing.
May 10 – People were moving vehicle and individual broke their arm May 10 – a male patient fell and broke their leg May 11 – A middle aged woman woke up with stroke like symptoms
Dublin VFD
May 10 – A gas leak was reported in the 300 block of West Harris Street. Atmos was notified.
May 10 – A structure fire caused by lightning was reported on FM 219 May 11 – Hay bales were on fire on CR 305
