Longtime Dublin banking businessman Monte Thiebaud was honored by neighbors and friends Friday, May 1 as First National Bank of Dublin hosted a reception at the Station, honoring his 46 years of service at Bank of Houston, Dublin National Bank and First National Bank. Thiebaud was presented with a brick thanking him for his service by Pat Leatherwood while guests enjoyed charcuterie catering prepared by Littlejohn’s and a cake. Prior to cutting the cake, Karen Wright delivered a speech honoring the years that Monte spent working behind the scenes for his neighbors. “You ask anyone what they’re going to miss about Monte Thiebaud and they’ll say I trust Monte Thiebaud,” Wright said, pointing to the years he spent building relationships and serving Dublin.
