From Staff Reports The following first responder calls were made April 27-May 4. Local first responders handled 65 calls during this time frame and PD completed 12 traffic stops.

Dublin PD April 27

A suspicious person was reported in the 700 block of Belfast Street. A man outside was reportedly checking out vehicles on the property, and kicked one of the vehicles. A report was made. Additional calls were made regarding this suspect at other locations.

An agency assist was requested on Private Road 1610 for a verbal argument.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of Highland Avenue.

An agency assist was requested for a motorist assist at Hwy. 6/Rest Stop for a vehicle with a dead battery.

April 28

An individual stole plates off their trailer, and they are now getting toll bills.

A wallet went missing at Wendy’s with cash in it. Damaged wallet was returned to front porch without the money in it.

A suspect attempted to steal two coolers in the 400 block of South Patrick. A report was taken.

April 29

A vehicle vs. a guardrail was reported on Hwy. 6/Loop 267 blocking both lanes of travel. The driver was arrested for no drivers license.

A motor was reported as a traffic hazard on FM 219. It was not located.

Animals at large were reported in the 800 block of Chancellor Street with dogs that kept coming onto the property and killing chickens.

A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of Blackjack.

An agency assist was requested for cows out near Cottonwood Church. It was put up before they got there.

Ivan Renteria was arrested on a warrant.

April 30

A fatality vehicle crash was reported on Hwy. 6 and CR 303.

A student was transported with admin.

A minor accident was reported at the front door of the high school.

A two car accident was reported in the 200 block of East Blackjack with one person complaining of neck pain.

May 1

A white Nissan was swerving and driving into on-coming traffic driving northbound on South FM 219. The vehicle was not located.

A citizen requested to speak to an officer about a criminal trespass warning that was issued to him.

An animal at large was reported in the 500 block of Water Oak. A tan and black dog was in the back of the reporting person’s property, unknown if it was aggressive.

An agency assist was requested by a Comanche PD officer.

Three goats were in the roadway in the 2100 block of East Blackjack. Responding officers told them to hoof it.

May 2

A reporting person advised about four to five goats out in the roadway in the 500 block of East Blackjack. They were also told to bleat it.

A request for information in regards to a domestic disturbance was given.

A reporting person in the 600 block of West Elm Street advises their neighbor’s dog is trying to attack his dogs through the fence.

A person requested officers speak to their 6-year-old about stealing being wrong.

There were 6-7 dogs in the parking lot sniffing and barking at people in the 200 block of North Patrick.

May 4

A person’s ex kept ringing the doorbell in the 300 block of North Camden.

April 28 – an elderly female fell, and was not awake but breathing.

May 2- A female fell and possibly broke her nose

April 29 – Possible tires were being burned in the 600 block of Norton Street. The fire was left unattended and put out.

April 30 – a fire alarm activated at Dublin ISD Daycare on Post Oak. It was a false alarm.
