Registration is now underway for the third annual Erath County Humane Society Cinco de Mayo 5K and Fun Run, Walk and Wag.
The event will be held on the Bosque River Trail with the Trailhead at Timber Ridge Church, located at 510 E. Lingleville Road, kicking off at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 2. Race options include a 5K Run/Walk/Rolll starting at 9 a.m. This non-timed I event is perfect for all fitness levels, so come enjoy at your own pace and have fun with the experience.
: The 1-mile Fun Run kicks off at 10 a.m. and pups are welcome! Leashed dogs are welcome to join you for this shorter, dog-friendly route. Don't have a dog? Walk one of the shelter dogs to help them shine and possibly get adopted! Other activities include the Sombrero Dash where the cutest pups (under 20 I pounds) sprint to the finish in this hilarious and heartwarming mini race; raffle prizes and giveaways; challenge stations where you can complete fun I and silly challenges to earn extra raffle tickets and a post-race fiesta with nachos, refreshments and celebration.

Registration is $30 per person (dogs are free), and registration can be completed on race day or in advance through the organization's Facebook page.
