The following first responder calls were made April 5- April 13. Local first responders handled 65 calls during this time frame and PD completed 18 traffic stops.

Dublin PD April 5

An agency assist occurred in the 1500 block of FM 847.

A silver Toyota was blocking a fire hydrant and stop sign on Grafton and East Sheridan.

A neighbor’s dog got loose in the 400 block of Hoffman Dr. and three individuals tried to bring the dog back. The neighbor’s cat attacked the reporting person’s kids and the reporting person allegedly stabbed the cat. A report was taken.

Three kids kicked in the door at the small building next to the library and then left on scooters toward the park.

A motorist assist occurred in the 1900 block of East Blackjack.

April 6

There was a motorist assist in the 1900 block of East Blackjack.

A reckless driver was reported on Hwy. 6.

A vehicle crash was reported in the 800 block of North Patrick when a car backed into her 2025 gray Buick and then fled without giving any info.

A White Ford Truck was driving recklessly in the 15000 block of Hwy. 377. It was not located.

A criminal trespass warning was served.

An individual later called to see if the criminal trespass warning was still in place.

April 7

A cow was reported out on the right side by the high school. Unfortunately, the hot hoofer learned you have to be human to be on the FFA milk quality judging team.

A person advised there was loud bass coming from the intersection of Gracie and Lewis.

Edgar Galvin was arrested after a traffic stop on North Grafton/Gracie for no insurance and no drivers license.

April 8

A building check was completed in the 700 block of Thomas.

A person advised a lady backed into her and was denying it.

An individual requested information on criminal trespass.

PD was called due to a civil matter. Ex-husband was acting belligerent over the phone and she wanted an officer present while she got her children.

April 9

An open door was investigated in the 500 block of South Patrick at the storage units.

PD was called for an agency assist in the 2500 block of West Hwy. 6.

A one vehicle accident involving a semi was reported on E. Hwy. 6 and PR 1401.

A building check occurred in the 700 block of Thomas.

A noise complaint was called in about a person playing deep bass in their truck on the corner of Gracie and Live Oak. The truck was not located.

A disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Johnson when someone was reportedly screaming and crying.

A reporting person stated there were five dogs barking all the time when the dogs are out in the 300 block of West Valley.

A vehicle crash occurred in the 7700 block of County Road 351 when a vehicle hit a tree.

April 10

A 2000 KIA was reported missing in the 300 block of May Street. Possible repossession.

A violation of city ordinance was reported on Highland Avenue.

A request to patrol Grafton Street due to excessive speed by drivers was requested.

Suspicious activity was reported on East Myrtle/ Liberty when kids were throwing rocks into the roadway. Reporting person almost blew a tire on one. No children or road hazards were located.

An assault was reported when a male slapped a female. A citation was written.

April 11

A noise complaint was reported in the 500 block of South Park. The reporting person could hear the music coming from the corner home. Had been going on for about an hour.

Dogs were changed to the fence at the storage unit on Hawk Street. No dogs were located.

A welfare concern was called in about a mom not contacting her son in a few days. She was OK and called her son.

A disturbance occurred when an individual started drinking, threatened to hit and kill family members. Parties were separated for the night.

A disturbance occurred with two individuals yelling at each other over kids.

A grey Toyota near the RV spots in the park needed a jump.

Two large dogs were running loose in the 400 block of West Sheridan.

Suspicious activity was reported on E. Myrtle/ Liberty when a group of teen boys wearing all black entered a home on Myrtle. Contact was made and everything was OK. No teen boys were located in the area.

April 12

Loose livestock was reported in the 9100 block of CR 322. Animals were taken care of.

A reporting person said they could see a huge bonfire from the 700 block of East Myrtle. It was not located.

An agency assist was done to aid in watching for specific vehicles.

A welfare check was requested on an individual suffering from postpartum.

A person rented a Uhaul and never took it to the other location. They wanted to report it as stolen. A report was taken.

April 10 – A stump on fire spread to a grass fire in the 200 block of Private Road 1291.
