Dublin Market Days set April 18
Dublin Market Days are set from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at the City Park Pavilion.
The market will also have the Dublin Garden Club with a selection of live plants for sale in order to raise money for their scholarship to give to a Dublin High School student.
The market showcases a wide range of gifts, fresh food, produce and much more.
Dublin Garden Club Plant Sale Saturday, April 18
The Dublin Garden Club will be hosting its plant sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at Dublin Market Days in the City Park.
Funds raised will go 100% to support Dublin scholarships.
Large variety of plants includes perennials, annuals, vegetables, flowers, natives, house plants and much more!
Everyone is invited to attend, organizers said!
Family History in Church Records program set for Saturday, April 18
Family History in Church Records is the program at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at the Dublin Public Library. Hosted by the Erath County Genealogical Society, this free program welcomes guests. Speaker Iva Foster will share how church records can uncover ancestors and clarify relationships—especially for those prior to 1850. Learn which denominations were common in early American regions, how to identify which churches your ancestors attended, and locate church records. Iva Foster is a member of the Johnson County Genealogical Society and serves as DAR Regent of the Johnson County chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
First Baptist Church Revival set April 24-26
First Baptist Church of Dublin will be hosting a revival Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 25 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m.
The church is located at 220 E. Live Oak Street in Dublin. Everyone is invited to attend, organizers said.
Photo contest underway
The deadline for the 3rd annual Alabaster Beauty & Wellness Bull Bash Queen Photo Contest is April 23.
Photographer Brooke Mendenhall will be judging entries in: animals, nature/landscape, people, still life, night photography and macro. Submissions are $10 each and photographer must present an 8x10 print. Winners will receive ribbons, have their work featured on Brooke Mendenhall’s photography page & the Bull Bash Group, plus a full year of bragging rights.

Ranch Horse Series set Saturday
The first event in the Double N Ranch Horse Series will be Saturday, April 18 starting at 8 a.m. (Office will open at 7 a.m.)
Classes will include: ranch trail, ranch reining, ranch rail, ranchmanship (similar to AQHA ranch riding) and flag class. Categories include open, amateur and never won a buckle for $25 per class or $100 for the day. All youth are free.
Future events will be May 16 and June 20. Rider must show at 2 of the 3 events to qualify for a buckle.
