The downtown intersection returned to regular traffic lights and Patrick Street entrances were closed to several businesses as TxDOT crews finished paving in the 200 block of North Patrick last week and moved road repairs north on Dublin’s main street. The roadway is currently closed from Pecan Street to Mesquite.
In response, businesses shared alternate routes for customers to reach them.
Granny Clark’s has both main entrances closed but diners can travel on Patrick from the Blackjack intersection or turn in from Liveoak and enter the parking lot in front of the building between Locked and Loaded and Granny Clark’s.
To reach the post office and Texas Car Detail, customers can travel to Gracie and turn onto Resley Drive, following through to Pecan which runs between the businesses.
Customers looking to visit Dublin Family Medicine, Patrick Street Pharmacy and TexasBank will need to enter from East Sheridan, turning by The Little Church on Grafton.
Boucher & Smart, Hacienda Camino El Real and Relax Inn can be reached by drivers traveling to North Park on Mesquite and turning on the street behind the businesses. From there, a side road will allow entrance to the parking lots.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution as several road and utility crews continue to work in town and drivers are having to find alternate routes to get around the construction.
