The following first responder calls were made March 30-April 4. Local first responders handled 71 calls during this time frame and PD completed 20 traffic stops.

Dublin PD March 30

An agency assist was requested on private road 1610 when an individual heard banging at their window.

PD did a home visit on a welfare concern.

A male individual was in the lobby of the PD to talk to an officer.

CPS investigation was conducted.

A worker witnessed a red pickup hit a parked vehicle North Park and Valley and then kept driving.

A person in the 700 block of North Patrick smelled a strong smell of carbon monoxide in her home.

A person had a welfare concern and requested PD to meet them at the gazebo.

A reporting person stated people were walking around the area in the 400 block of Edward Drive, and requested PD to come out.

March 31

A minor vehicle accident occurred on Harris and the railroad tracks.

A 911 hangup call was reported in the 700 block of North Norton. It sounded like a male was angry in the background.

A person requested to talk to officers about a civil matter in regards to her husband.

A reckless driver was reported on South Hwy. 377 Southbound when a white 18-wheeler was swerving, hauling a trailer.

A rolling domestic was reported on South Hwy. 377 in a white Volvo. The responding officer was unable to locate them.

A suspicious person was reported at the library.

April 1

A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Myrtle.

A false alarm was reported in the 2200 block of Hwy. 6.

A person called in for a fraud report A vehicle crash was reported on Hwy. 377/ Loop 267 South with a vehicle trying to leave the scene. No injuries.

A suspicious person was reported at the apartments in the 300 block of Highland Avenue.

A fraud report was taken after someone was playing an online game, the game locked up and they were instructed to call a phone number. Person advised him to get gift cards to pay fee to take care of problem. Subject went to Stephenville while he remained on the phone and bought gift cards. (THIS IS A COMMON TACTIC USED BY SCAMMERS. USE CAUTION).

April 2

A white truck with a possibly intoxicated driver was on FM 219. Unable to be located.

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of West Valley.

An open door was reported at the old church on East Sheridan.

A minor accident was reported in the 500 block of East Blackjack. Drivers exchanged insurance and there were no injuries.

April 4

A fight occurred in the 400 block of Eagle Street with four people. Report was taken.

An individual called in about a train running since last night and they were concerned for the conductor in the 500 block of West O’Neil Street.

An individual wanted to meet PD at Milano’s to discuss a black pitbull at the corner of Grafton and Dobkins.

A hit cat that was still alive was reported on North Post Oak.

Loud music was reported on Highland and Clinton.

April 5

An agency assist occurred in the 1500 block of FM 847.

A silver Toyota was blocking a fire hydrant and stop sign on Grafton and East Sheridan.

A neighbor’s dog got loose in the 400 block of Hoffman Dr. and three individuals tried to bring the dog back. The neighbor’s cat attacked the reporting person’s kids and the reporting person allegedly stabbed the cat. A report was taken.

Three kids kicked in the door at the small building next to the library and then left on scooters toward the park.

A motorist assist occurred in the 1900 block of East Blackjack.

Dublin VFD

March 30 – Grass on the shredder was reported on fire on South FM 219/CR 543.

April 3- A person was standing in a neighbor’s yard in the 300 block of North Camden Street and stated they smelled wires burning.

Erath EMS-Dublin branch

April 1 – A 17-year old female gave blood about an hour ago and still feels shaky, and isn’t feeling well.

April 2- Needed a lift assist from EMS. No injuries.
