Body

The following first responder calls were made March 16-March 23. Local first responders handled 62 calls during this time frame and PD completed 27 traffic stops.

Dublin PD March 16

A reporting person backed into someone’s vehicle at Dollar General in the 400 block of South Patrick. They tried to find the owner, but could not, and when they exited the store the vehicle was gone.

March 17

A vehicle crash was reported in the 100 block of North Patrick.

March 18

A motorist assist occurred on Loop 267 with a red Mazda. The individual’s parents were five minutes away and she was OK.

A person requested PD to file a police report.

A criminal trespass was issued.

A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block of North Grafton. Individual with an orange vest, no ID and his tag said he was in a high energy area.

Three dogs were barking in the 300 block of Hurt Street. They were not located.

A welfare concern was issued for an open 9-1-1 call. Could hear noise but no one responded. Police cleared the home and everything was OK.

March 19

An agency assist was reported in the 1000 block of North Patrick.

A person in the 300 block of North Grafton reported a white male with a blue vest came to the home to talk about a telephone pole, and would not leave. Individual had to get loud with the person in order for them to leave. They requested officer contact them.

A grey Toyota Tacoma was reported recklessly driving on North Patrick Street, going southbound. The truck was not located.

PD assisted with three individual fights on 11550 block of South U.S. Hwy. 377.

A 911 hang up call occurred in the 200 block of North Patrick. Everything was OK. Father was going to talk to child about calling 911.

A citizen contact was made regarding some issues an individual was having.

An agency assist was requested for a wrong way pick up on South Hwy. 377, they were not located.

March 20

A person at the KOA stated someone stole her package and the manager wanted to speak to police.

A possible accident was reported by an automated 911 call on North Patrick. No other calls were reported.

March 21

An open door was reported in the 800 block of North Patrick. PD secured door.

A reckless driver call was reported on Hwy. 6 with a black Honda pilot swerving and going under the speed limit.

A person in the 400 block of Gracie was requesting information about what can be done to someone coming on their property, and refusing to leave until they are yelled at.

Suspicious activity was reported on South Patrick street when individuals who own land behind the donut shop and Dollar General could see people running around with flashlights.

March 22

Illegal dumping was reported in the 200 block of North Post Oak when a black pickup was dumping stuff on the adjacent lot.

A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of East Myrtle.

Disorderly conduct with loud music was reported in the 1000 block of West Elm Street.

March 23

A report was taken regarding nude photos.

A theft was reported in the 600 block of East Liveoak when a license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Dublin VFD

March 17 – A grass fire was reported near structures on CR 303.

March 21 – An agency assist occurred in Comanche County for a grass fire in the 100 block of Texas Avenue.

March 21 – A burn pile got out of control and was headed to some cedar trees on PR 1399.
