The following first responder calls were made Jan. 19–Feb. 1. Local first responders handled 100 calls during this time frame and PD completed 15 traffic stops.

Dublin PD 
Jan. 19

There was an alarm at Dublin Family Medical Pharmacy back door.

A neighbor’s dog jumped the fence and was acting aggressive on Briarwood.

A person in the 300 block of West Travis was bitten by their dog.

A disorderly conduct call was reported in the 300 block of North Camden when neighbors were on their patio causing the reporting person’s dogs to park.

A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of West Blackjack.

Jan. 20

A person called in concerned for their neighbor. Before the person went to work she heard a lot of door slamming and loud banging in the 200 block of West Blackjack.

A reporting party called in a missing person.

Dublin PD assisted Tarleton PD in collecting a stolen scooter.

There was an abandoned White Dodge Durango reported in the 700 block of North Norton.

An officer transported a student home to the housing authority.

Dublin PD supplemented information to aid Eastland County.

A welfare concern was called in for a man walking on East Harris that looked to be in bad shape. The individual was not located.

A well-groomed German Shepherd was reported loose in the 100 block of East Elm.

A traffic hazard was reported on FM 219.

Jan. 21

An alarm was reported in the 300 block of North Patrick.

A person was requesting Brightspeed be removed from their property after numerous problems with construction.

A person in the 200 block of Grafton reported issues with their neighbors.

A kid was reportedly shooting a pellet gun in the 500 block of North Grafton.

A white Ford work van was swerving and speeding going at least 90 mph on FM 847.

Stephenville PD requested an agency assist for a hit and run driver that was possibly intoxicated. They were not located.

Jan. 22

A suspicious vehicle was reported on O’Neil.

A theft report was taken for something taken at Dublin High School.

Jan. 23

An abandoned vehicle was red tagged in the 700 block of Norton.

A person who left their vehicle on Norton needed an extension because all of the tire shops were closed.

A mental health incident was reported.

A welfare concern was called in for someone with mental health concerns.

Jan. 24

A domestic disturbance was reported between two family members.

A reckless driver call was reported for a black truck doing donuts in front of the store in the 200 block of East Blackjack.

A vehicle crash was reported in the 3400 block of East Hwy. 6 with a vehicle on its side and one individual injured.

Jan. 25

A reporting person stated she had been hearing popping sounds for several hours in the 800 block of West Blackjack. A powerline across the street was hanging low.

PD assisted Atmos Energy with a gas leak in the 300 block of North Davies.

Jan. 26

An alarm activated in the 400 block of East Blackjack.

A reporting person in the 300 block of West Valley had a pipe burst under their house, it was flooding and they did not know how to turn the meter off.

A minor two vehicle accident occurred on South Patrick and Trowbridge.

A reporting person stated they hit a metal pole behind DQ and had already left the scene.

An 18-wheeler slid off the road due to ice and was unable to move on CR 351/ Allsups.

Jan. 27

A person hit a street sign on Camden and Hoffman and then drove off.

A vehicle crash occurred in the 16000 block of Hwy. 6.

A semi-truck pulled up to the light on South Patrick and had an air leak on one of their secondary tanks so they could not move forward. They were causing road blockage in the south bound lane.

A reporting person saw a semi go off the roadway into the ditch, into a ditch on Hwy. 6/CR 304. Driver appeared uninjured.

Jan. 28

A person requested a civil standby to retrieve belongings.

A vehicle got stuck in the ice on East Blackjack and North Grafton.

A theft was reported in the 200 block of East Blackjack.

A fraud report was reported in the 200 block of East Blackjack.

PD assisted another agency with a call in the 200 block of Johnson Street.

PD assisted another agency in the 1600 block of PR 1401.

Jan. 29

First National Bank reported counterfeit bills.

Illegal dumping was reported in the creek near the 400 block of West Blackjack.

A reporting person advised there were a few company trunks parked outside his house in the 700 block of East Myrtle. No one was around the vehicles.

An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 700 block of North Norton and towing was requested.

A male child was calling 911, being rude and daring them to send someone to his house. Address kept bouncing between the 210212 and 209-211 duplexes in the 200 block of Bryan Circle.

An agency assist was requested for three horses out near Allsup’s. They were not located.

Jan. 30

A suspicious person was pulling everyone’s trash cans onto their yards in the 200 block of North Grafton.

Jan. 31

A reckless driver was reported in the 200 block of South Liberty. They believed they were headed to a dairy. Officer spoke to them and they were OK.

An animal at large was reported in the 800 block of Courtney Drive.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of North Camden when smoke was seen on the ground.

Feb. 1

A motorist assist was reported in the 400 block East Blackjack.

A person in the 400 block of North Patrick heard tapping on the outside of their home, footsteps and their TV was changing channels.

Jan. 23 – assisting with an elderly female with low oxygen and low pulse.

Jan. 26 - EMS assisted when an elderly male fell on the ice and could not move his arm.

Feb. 1 – EMS assisted with a broken ankle

Jan. 23 – A fire was reported in the 400 block of North Patrick when a heat lamp busted on a water line. Turned out not to be a fire.

Jan. 24 – A large brush fire was reported on Hwy. 377 behind the Allsups.

Jan. 29 – A person reported issues with her electrical outlets. Outlet was smoking for about 20 minutes.

Jan. 29 - A controlled burn in the 2400 block of CR 520 has rekindled and started a grass fire.

Jan. 29 – A brush truck and a tanker was requested for a brush fire in the 6000 block of CR 264.

Jan. 30 – A front end loader was on fire in the 200 block of CR 308.

Jan. 30 – A carbon monoxide alarm activated at a home on Highland Avenue and they evacuated the home.

Feb. 1 – A brush truck and tanker was requested in the 5400 block of CR 275.
