The following first responder calls were made Jan. 5–Jan. 11. Local first responders handled 62 calls during this time frame and PD completed 28 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Jan. 5
A minor accident was reported in the 200 block of East Clinton when a bulldozer ran into a fence.
A reporting person said they sold a vehicle last year, but didn’t take the plates off. Now they are getting toll tag bills and wanted to report the plates stolen.
A vehicle ran into Dollar General in the 400 block of South Patrick and then left the scene.
An 18-wheeler reported a black Toyota that was all over the roadway on East Hwy. 6 headed towards Dublin. Driver was not located.
A person came to the EMS station and needed to talk to law enforcement.
A verbal disturbance over a three day period was reported, and they were seeking law enforcement help.
Jan. 6
A person in the 300 block of North Patrick thought someone was in their utility building. No one was located. A noise complaint was reported in the 400 block of South Patrick.
A motorist assist occurred on South Grafton St.
An agency assist occurred in the 800 block of North Patrick.
Jan. 7
A suspicious vehicle was reported at one of the storage units in the 800 block of North Patrick.
Someone came to the PD to file a report.
A 14-year-old teen was driving and officers waited until a licensed driver arrived. Citation was given.
A welfare concern was called in after a patient missed an appointment.
Jan. 8
A vehicle in the 700 block of North Park was left with doors open, PD made contact to make sure everything was OK.
Suspicious activity was reported on the road behind the library towards Park.
A reporting person stated she heard two females wailing and chanting in the 500 block of West Clinton.
A semi passed the reporting person and damaged the windshield, would not pull over.
Jan. 9
A disturbance occurred between males.
A vehicle crash occurred at West Hwy. 6 and CR 347.
Reckless driving was reported on kids with mini bikes in the 100 block of Scenic Drive. Kids weren’t paying attention and driver almost hit one.
Suspicious activity was reported on Highland Avenue with someone pointing a green laser at the sky. They were not located.
A reporting party was needing to file a report on stolen airpods. She lent them to a friend, and the friend won’t give them back.
A person called 911. A male was having trouble breathing, was enroute to hospital. Told them to pull over at Allsups and send PD and EMS to their location.
Jan. 10
Officers aided a motorist in the 1000 block of North Patrick.
Jan. 11
An agency assist occurred in the 5100 block of CR 304.
Erath County EMS – Dublin division
Jan. 6 – EMS from Stephenville assisted on a call. Jan. 7 – EMS was requested for a teen with stomach pain at the dentist. An elderly male passed out, but was breathing.
Dublin VFD
Jan. 6 – Comanche County SO requested mutual aid for a grace fire in the 500 block of Ava Grace Lane.
Jan. 8 – EMS requested fire on scene for a middle aged person having trouble breathing.
