The following first responder calls were made Dec. 8–14. Local first responders handled 60 calls during this time frame and PD completed 19 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Dec. 8
There was a stranded motorist on North Norton. A Hyundai with a utility trailer was in the middle of the road, died and wouldn’t start.
There was a disturbance on the 500 block of East Elm. A male was trying to get another male to come out and fight.
A general burglary alarm activated in the 300 block of North Patrick.
Dec. 9
A general burglary alarm activated at Dublin Family Medical.
An unidentified line was reported laying over the road near Kingdom Threads at Live Oak.
There was a two vehicle accident on County Road 351 where the airbags deployed.
There was a noise complaint in the 500 block of Highland Ave.
There was an open door in the 600 block of Thomas.
Dec. 10
The stop light was up at the intersection of Clinton and drivers were running the light.
There was a commercial burglar alarm in the interior of 300 block of North Patrick.
Dublin PD assisted another agency with a noise complaint on FM 847.
Dec. 11
A person broke into someone’s shed in the 500 block of North Camden.
A 911 hangup call in the 800 block of Courtney Drive. The call was reported as a misdial.
An identity theft report occurred for someone using a resident’s social security number.
A mobile emergency alert was activated in the 300 block of Davies St. Eventually got an abort notification since everything was OK.
A person was locked out of their vehicle with their 2-year-old locked inside the vehicle on FM 219.
Dublin PD assisted another agency with trying to locate a vehicle after a gas drive off.
A front door commercial alarm activated in the 200 block of South Patrick.
Dec. 12
A suspicious person was knocking on doors on Hoffman. The person had on a high visibility vest. (Most likely they were either with a city crew, Atmos Energy, utility crew, NextLink or Brightspeed).
A car came by playing music in the 500 block of East Elm and a neighbor yelled at him to turn music down.
A person was contacting PD for identity theft.
Dec. 13
A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Patrick with a male and female screaming at each other in the parking lot.
Dec. 14
A female victim reported a sexual assault.
An entry exit alarm was activated at Dublin Family Medical.
A blue Ford Explorer was swerving all over the road on South Hwy. 377.
A person has a criminal trespass warning against an individual and she constantly seeing him driving up and down her road.
Erath County EMSDublin Division
Dec. 9 – a 25-year-old male was feeling like he was having a heart attack. PD was also paged. Dec. 10 – An assist was given to another medical unit with getting a male off the floor.
Dec. 11 – an elderly female with a history of COPD was having problems breathing Dec. 13 – EMS responded to a vehicle vs car accident on S. FM 219/CR 319.
Dublin VFD
Dec. 8 – A backhoe hit a gas line in the 500 block of Hurt Street.
Dec. 11 – a fire was on the loop between 377 and CR 340.
Dec. 14 – a semi was on fire on Grafton and Blackjack
