The following first responder calls were made Dec. 1– 7. Local first responders handled 63 calls during this time frame and PD completed 19 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Dec. 1
A subject was released from jail but could not go home due to an emergency protective order in place. Had already went to churches for help and was told they couldn’t do anything for him. Officer was working out details of EPO.
A suspicious person was called in on the 600 block of Liveoak Street possibly trying to sell something. The subject was walking to Brookshires and waiting for his boss to pick him up.
An alarm activated at Dublin Family Medicine.
Dec. 2
A suspicious vehicle was located in the 100 block of North Davies. A vehicle was spotted with the doors open.
Suspicious activity was located in the 800 block of Courtney Drive with an unoccupied vehicle with its doors open.
A welfare concern was called in for the 600 block of Ireland St.
An officer provided options for an individual locked out of the house she had been living in.
An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South Patrick. Owner was spoken to and everything was OK.
A reporting person’s husband was in a verbal altercation with a repo driver.
Officer aided CPS with a stand-by regarding child abuse.
Dec. 3
Police chief and officer out with construction crew on North Patrick.
A pit bull had a neck chain and was wandering around Blackjack Street.
A reporting party stated an individual pulled a gun on him as he walked through the person’s yard. A criminal trespass warning was issued.
A reporting party wants a report for her insurance company. Her car was damaged during the football game.
A reporting party living in the 600 block of Austin St. reported a package was taken off her porch and a neighbor saw who did it.
A water break was reported in the 100 block of Davis.
Dec. 4
A welfare concern was called in for an individual who was in their house passed out drunk.
A minor accident was reported in the 5000 block of S. U.S. 377.
A close patrol was requested in the 300 block of West Travis.
Dec. 5
A suspicious vehicle was reported on CR 351.
An officer was out with a suspect that was being combative. Skylar Knoop was arrested for public intoxication.
Dec. 6
A reporting person called that the railroad guards were possibly stuck in the 200 block of South Patrick. (Or it’s just an incredibly long train like normal).
A welfare concern was called in for a person in a mental health crisis.
PD assisted with a funeral escort.
A reckless driver was called in on Hwy. 6 and was not located. Dark Gray or green lifted pickup all over the roadway and almost caused a crash.
PD assisted with the Christmas parade road closures.
A person reported a dog bite with her granddaughter from several days before and wanted to know what needed to be done. Language barrier.
A report was taken on a terroristic threat regarding text messages.
A reporting person called in about individuals burning trash on North Grafton/ College St.
A caller reported hearing gunshots in the 700 block of East Myrtle. Nothing located.
Dec. 7
A domestic disturbance was reported.
A reckless driver was seen on Clinton. Reynaldo Bibiano was arrested for a DWI.
A person was locked out of her vehicle at her residence.
Erath County EMSDublin division
Dec. 1 – A 16-monthold little girl having a seizure, turning blue and was foaming at the mouth. Police also responded to this call due to its emergent nature.
Dublin VFD
Dec. 3 – Fire was paged for a fire on CR 322 Dec. 4 – A brush fire was reported across CR 304.
Dec. 5 – Dublin fire was called for a fire on CR 242 and then page was cancelled.
Dec. 6 – A reporting person called in for a gas smell outside the home in the 100 block of E. O’Neil.
