Holiday Band concert Thursday, Dec. 11
The annual Holiday Band Concert will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 at the Main gym at the Dublin Elementary Secondary Campus.
Bands will play holiday music selections including the 6th grade band, Junior High Band, Jazz Band and High School band.
There will be a dessert supper immediately following the concert to raise funds for the band.
Winter Wonderland in the Gardens now open
Higgledy Piggledy Cottage is now presenting Winter Wonderland in the Gardens at 232 Sipe Springs in DeLeon.
Admission is one nonperishable food item per person for the food bank.
The gardens are open 6-8 p.m. Dec. 6 through Dec. 21.
Cardinal Classic Teddy Bear Toss Friday
Lingleville ISD will be hosting its annual Cardinal Classic Teddy Bear Toss Friday, Dec. 12 at 6:40 p.m. at the Lingleville High School gym.
The toss will happen during the warmup of the girls game and all proceeds will be delivered to Cooks Children Hospital. Please toss only stuffed animals during the annual toss event.
The toy drive will be continued on Dec. 13 and acceptable items include infant toys, teethers, coloring books, craft kits, Legos, fidget toys, colored pencils, markers, crayons, action figures, and puzzles.
