Fall 1915 was peanut threshing time in Dublin. At that time this New Racine thresher was relied on to get the job done. Though it was built by the J.I. Case Company in Racine, Wisconsin, it was also sold by International Harvester. These threshers were built to last with dove tail joints used to hold the wood together. The New Racine was a stationary thresher, powered by a separate steam or oil powered engine. Large belts connected the two machines together. This original 5x7 glass plate photograph was probably made about 1915, when similar glass negatives at the museum were taken.
