Comanche County Museum to host Christmas Party/Open House Saturday, Dec. 6
Everyone is welcome to attend the Christmas Party/ Open House at the Comanche County Museum from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. The museum is located at 402 Moorman Road in Comanche. There will be live entertainment with Tommy Patterson and refreshments will be served. Come in, relax and enjoy. See their beautiful lighted Christmas tree and lighted bridges. Holiday Band concert Thursday, Dec. 11
The annual Holiday Band Concert will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 at the Main gym at the Dublin Elementary Secondary Campus.
Bands will play holiday music selections including the 6th grade band, Junior High Band, Jazz Band and High School band.
There will be a dessert supper immediately following the concert to raise funds for the band.

Chamber hosting store decorating contest
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce is hosting a store decorating contest asking business owners to help Dublin sparkle and shine for the season.
To enter, donate an item from your store which will be included in a box to be raffled off and the winner will be drawn Dec. 6.
The first place store front will receive $300, 2nd place $200 and third place $100.
Stores should be decorated in 'Cowboy Christmas' theme.

Chamber now seeking vendors for Christmas events
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for its Cowboy Christmas event Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m.
The event will include a lighted Christmas parade downtown and live music with Santa Claus and The Grinch from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Jingle Bell Bash set for Tuesday, Dec. 9
Dublin PTO is inviting everyone to come have some holiday fun at its annual Jingle Bell Bash from 5:30 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Dublin Intermediate School Cafeteria.
There will be free pictures with Santa, Christmas crafts for kids, ornament decorating, cookie decorating, hot cocoa bar and more!
Tickets are $1 each and most booth activities are one to two tickets each.

Humane Society to host fundraiser Saturday
The Erath County Humane Society has two fundraisers on Saturday, Dec. 6. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. visit Pet Supplies Plus in Stephenville for a bake sale, adoptable animals, cool merchandise and photos with Santa.
From 5-7 p.m. enjoy Paw-liday Fest at Groomer Has It located at 2900 W. Washington St. No. 41a in Stephenville for more photo with Santa opportunities and holiday fun! Pets and kids are welcome.

Holly Jolly Christmas set for Monday, Dec. 8
Stephenville’s Holly Jolly Christmas festival will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 in downtown Stephenville.
Activities will include the official lighting of the Christmas Tree, pictures with Santa, carriage and hayrides, carolers and choirs, dance and tumbling performances, letters to Santa, cookie decorating, Christmas crafts and games, holiday vendors and more. The event is organized by Stephenville Chamber of Commerce and SPARD.
